Good Morning UCLA!

On October 16th, 2023, Charlie Kratus launched @goodmorningucla during his first month in college. Starting from just a small following of friends and family, Good Morning UCLA is now followed by over 100,000 people across platforms and has been seen by tens of millions across the world. Videos center around weather reports, funny bits, UCLA clubs and sports teams, philanthropy, and little moments from Charlie's life. The account has raised thousands of dollars for charity and featured countless philanthropic causes. Planned, filmed, and edited all by himself, Good Morning UCLA has become of one of Charlie's favorite things and he loves when people yell "Good Morning" at him. In addition to online content, Good Morning UCLA has allowed Charlie to host some of UCLA's biggest athletics events and other UCLA events.

Positivity, Engagement, and Philanthropy is at the heart of all that Good Morning UCLA is about. Every video is centered around P.E.P. and even the acronym means to have energy.

Positivity: The videos should bring joy, smiles to peoples faces, and do good.

Engagement: Getting people off their phones and interacting with each other and be apart of the organizations and events that are highlighted is always a goal.

Philanthropy: Giving back to the community and helping others is a cornerstone of Good Morning UCLA.
